When our founder, Tom Vullo, led finance and training for a top 15 dealership, he saw a lot of potential for speeding up and improving the accuracy of financing customers for vehicle purchases. Each dealership works with 20-30 lenders, and estimating which lenders will finance customers based on credit profiles and vehicle values is prone to mistakes and time-consuming restarts. It's a process better suited for software....

Tom created Lender Selector® in 2022, and after beta testing it for 8 months, began building a team to develop and sell it in 2023. Now the company has 12 employees, dozens of dealership subscribers, and has completed pre-seed funding to grow the company even further.

Account Representative - Customer Success

General Description

SelectFI’s Customer Success department manages the onboarding and ongoing account relations for the company’s software subscribers. Account Representatives serve as liaisons with stakeholders and key users of the software for each dealership that subscribes.

Once a client is contracted, the Customer Success Account Representative establishes contacts at client dealerships to arrange training, establish key integrations and preferences for software use, and to generally assure the software is successfully activated and integrated with the client’s platforms on launch. On an ongoing basis, the Account Representative maintains relationships with dealership managers and software users to assure they maximize use of the software, conduct training for new users, troubleshoot any concerns, and periodically report on key metrics to internal and external stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Complete onboarding steps to assure prompt delivery and successful software integration and launch within each client dealership
  • Conduct training programs and provide training support for software users based on their role in the dealership
  • Manage an engagement calendar for assigned clients and conduct monthly business review meetings/teleconferences to highlight successes
  • Monitor client engagement metrics and drive adoption
  • Troubleshoot non-technical issues and resolve to client’s satisfaction

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • 2+ years of auto retail experience, particularly related to functions of sales management and vehicle financing
  • 1-2 years with customer service for software businesses or related services
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to nurture client relationships and resolve issues or points of dissatisfaction
  • Ability to work conscientiously in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to travel for face-to-face meetings at dealerships

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: $50,000-$65,000 - Includes incentive compensation. Base salary commensurate with experience.
  • Travel expense compensation plus monthly car allowance

  • Hybrid work schedule is available
